Love Lost Turns You Into A Heartbreaker
So I realized something as I was getting off the train the other day.
Love lost turns you into a heartbreaker.
Now I'm not talking about crushes or infatuations but real, true love.
Although I've had to come to the conclusion that not all loves are meant to be, regardless of how genuine they are; they are just meant to help you develop you into who you are.
However, love lost is a hard thing to swallow and I've found that all of a sudden the shoe is on the other foot in my life and I think it all has to do with lost love.
For me anyway, I find that I now know what I'm looking for (in some sense or another) and know even faster what I'm not looking for...which is where the heartbreaking comes in. I just find that it takes me no time at all to figure out whether or not I am compatible with someone. And once I've determined that I see no point in dragging out the process. I mean, why waste your time with someone you know not to be the one? Isn't it just a temporary road block that is totally unnecessary and self inflicted?
I find it all rather curious that I now see and understand past people's behaviours and feelings. Of course they always say that hindsight is 20/20 but this is a bit different because now I know the emotions and thought processes involved and it has brought a whole bunch of light to past relationships.
It definitely helps to experience this. It makes me more sensitive to those around me because now I've seen both sides and either way it's tough.
Not sure this whole thought came out as clear as it is in my little head but I'm sure you get the picture.
